Beyond the Bookings

Not every photo is taken to sell a stay. Some are taken because the light hit the river just right, the sky over Bear River finally cleared enough to see the Milky Way, or a sunrise somewhere on the other side of the world was too good not to stop for. This gallery is the landscape, night-sky, and travel work that exists outside the listings entirely, shot for the love of the place rather than the booking. It's the throughline between building retreats in the Maine woods and chasing the same kind of light and stillness everywhere else we go.
