I had a great 3-night stay at the Cabin at Bear River. The cabin is the perfect size and the huge windows allow for a ton of natural light to come through. The fireplace, hot tub, and sauna made it a perfect winter getaway for a long weekend. Tyler was always proactive and clear in communications, which made everything from checking in to finding restaurant recommendations very easy.

A perfectly curated cabin, tucked away in nature. An oasis to any guest that stays here. A million Thank Yous for hosting my boyfriend and I during my 40th Birthday skiing celebration!!

Such a beautiful space that was perfect for skiing at Sunday river and coming back to rest and recharge. Tyler’s an amazing host, quickly responded to any question we may have had!

Cabin was secluded, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed. It felt luxuriously and a nice retreat for our family of four. It was a tight fit for all of us once we made the bed in the living room, but for a couple it would’ve been perfect. We loved the all the special touches, hot tub, and design.

This place is gorgeous. Warm, peaceful, close to Sunday River, yet far enough to feel that you are hidden in the woods. The views are beautiful. Trail next to house is magical. Amenities are excellent and Tyler is an excellent host—very responsive and easy to reach, will definitely return!

Tyler's home in Newry is a jewel. A real jewel. The home is so comfortable and well appointed. My husband and I loved it. The trails on the property were a delight and a source of joy for walking our dog. We're definitely coming back next year for a longer stay and more time on the slopes at Sunday River. John

We had an absolutely lovely time staying at this Maine gem. It felt like a place straight out of a book. Every detail was paid attention to, and it was the perfect place to relax in between skiing. Would definitely recommend!

Tyler’s place was really clean and well stocked with high quality kitchen and bathroom appliances. It is beautifully furnished and a perfect romantic getaway for couples and a perfect retreat for some downtime. The only disappointment was that it’s right by a state road with close neighbors on both sides so it wasn’t secluded or as private as we were hoping. But I highly recommend it anyway and Tyler was really easy to contact, replied super fast, and was always very kind and helpful. He even updated the listing after I commented on the privacy issue. Also be aware there are no blinds or curtains in the bedroom. Tyler said that was by design to more fully immerse in nature, which is awesome, but if you are light sensitive like me you’ll want to bring eye covers to sleep.

We saw a one night availability and jumped on it! We took weekend getaway trip to Sunday River and this was the perfect spot to relax after a long day. We really enjoyed the hot tub. There were two couples so we utilized the pull out couch mattress which was actually very comfortable. We woke up to a beautifully snowy morning. It was perfect for our stay!

Very cozy cabin! Easy check in, very clean and organized. Very clear instructions upon check in and check out. A little smaller than expected but still cozy. Beautiful scenery surrounding and very peaceful setting.

We were looking for a nice place to relax and not do much of anything besides shop and hike. The cabin so exceeded our expectations down to every small detail, we barely left for anything other than a few groceries. We'll definitely try to stay again in the future.

We Had an amazing stay! Perfect location for a quiet getaway! The hot tub and fireplace were both so relaxing, trails behind the house were fun to explore. Comfy bed, crazy well stocked kitchen, couldn’t ask for more! Will 1,000,000% be back next time we want to get away from everything for a few days!

peacful get away from the distractions and stress of city life. the location is beautiful and relaxing, especially as you watch the sunset on the deck overlooking the trees. wonderful little get away. I will be back again.

I was hesitant to spend the amount we did to stay at Tyler’s place but it was worth it! Absolutely beautiful! Location is perfect for hiking, biking and other outdoor activities. Was great to come back after busy day to a serene place and relax. Highly recommend
