Two Distinct Builds

Alpen is Swiss-alpine meets Nordic, perched above the brook. Skog is mid-century, glass-walled, tucked into the trees. Same land, different rooms to wake up in.

Nordic Ritual: Sauna, Hot Tub, Fire

Each cabin gets its own cedar sauna, hot tub under open sky, and fire pit. Sequence them however you like.

Land to Get Lost In

Brooks, ledge cliffs, and Cliff Pond, uphill from the cabins and yours to wander. Snowshoes in winter, boots the rest of the year.

About This Property

HAVN is Norwegian for harbor. Two cabins sit near the front of thirty-nine acres in the western Maine mountains, Alpen above the brook, Skog set back in the trees. They share the land and nothing else. No lobby, no neighbors, no one to check in with.

Each has a cedar sauna, a hot tub under open sky, a fire pit, and a fireplace for when it gets late. The land runs uphill behind them: brooks cutting through the woods with private trails to it, ledge cliffs near the top, and partway between, the pond we call Cliff Pond, still water with a wall of granite behind it. Walk up in the morning. Come back muddy. Earn the sauna.

 

Bethel and Sunday River are 15-20 minutes out when you want them, and easy to forget when you don't.

That's the whole property. Alpen and Skog share the land and nothing else, no lobby, no shared walls, no one to check in with. On a full weekend, there are four people at HAVN.

Alpen is Swiss-alpine meets Nordic, perched above the brook, glass on the woods. Skog is mid-century, low and long, with one wall that's nearly all window. Same land, different rooms to wake up in.

Every Cabin Gets the Full Setup

No upgrade tier, no shared spa. Cedar sauna, hot tub under open sky, fire pit, and a fireplace inside, at both cabins, every stay. Privacy and intimacy are the focus at HAVN.

10-15 Minutes to Sunday River, and Gone

Close enough to ski a full day and be back before dark. Far enough up the road that the mountain doesn't follow you home.

The Perfect Location

HAVN Maine sits in Woodstock, in the western Maine mountains. Sunday River's lifts are about 15-20 minutes away, Bethel sits a little closer for dinner and a grocery run. Grafton Notch, the Mahoosucs, and the Androscoggin are all inside a half hour. Come back, light the fire, and the day is over. Or never leave.
